Fusion Technology offers PAW Plasma Arc Welding certification training programs that are tailored to the
specific equipment and procedures used by each individual customer.
A typical Plasma Arc Welding training program will cover
the following items:
- Plasma arc welding safety
- Electrode and tip maintenance
- Plasma arc theory

Pre-weld cleanliness
- Plasma arc gasses and gas mixtures
- Importance of gas purity
- Welding techniques for manual
and/or automated plasma welding
- Troubleshooting of plasma arc problems
- Defect recognition and correction
- All
controls and parameters on the customer's particular equipment
Included with each
training program:
- Full-color training manuals for each student that are tailored to the
particular customer's welding
and cutting equipment and requirements.
- Classroom instruction with Power Point presentation
- Hands-on training for
each student on their respective equipment.
The hands-on training may be individual or performed with
pairs or small
groups.
- Certification cards
- Databasing of training records
- Written recommendations
for process improvement and safety.
