The motor is a 1730cc Cosworth BDR with approximately 160-180 HP.  The motor is utilizing cast iron crank and rods, and is therefore limited to about 7200 RMP.  Carburation is twin Weber 45DCOE's.  Ignition is Lucas Luminition optical electronic type from Dave Bean Engineering.  Sometime in the future this mill should be replaced by a 2-liter unit with dry sump and fuel injection with a target HP of 220+.
