The chassis is a modified Europa TC frame that has been fitted to the Type 54 body.  The front cross member has been removed and replaced with a fabricated unit that increases the length and width of the footwell (2" and 1" respectively).  The new front cross member also allows the steering rack to be mounted on a horizontal surface, making bump steer adjustments simple.  

     The rear of the chassis has been shortened by about 12" to allow fittment of the new rear suspension.  Twin trailing arms are attached to the chassis via spherical ball joints and 1/8" thick welded steel brackets.
